Ready - Set - Go!

I created this site hoping to journal our travel experience and to keep you all posted on our cross-country journey - that is, if you're interested.

It's almost midnight and we're planning to leave for our cross-country trip tomorrow. So here I am...after a half dozen beers with San and Dannyn... I mean Dan and Shannyn setting up a blog site. Yes, they sent us off in great Verin Lane fashion: Chicken tacos and cerveza. Yum! Our bags our packed and the Prius is shiny clean and waiting to hit the road.

Our initial plan was to leave at 6 am tomorrow. But I'm not sure if that is still a realistic goal. I think the beer may come into play. First stop: Phoenix to spend Sunday afternoon and evening with my high school friend, Lynn Kovacic Mehrtens. So for now, good night.
